My name is Magda Yacoub, I'm your friendly neighborhood Office Manager! I have various duties at the office, but my number one concern is the patient's overall experience and satisfaction. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. My kids often tell me I'm too cordial and passionate. If you see me at the office during your visit, be sure to say hi!

Upland Assistant Office Manager
I started my Dental career 13 years ago as a dental assistant and worked my way up to getting my RDA. I focused primarily on specialty as a surgery assistant, and in between that, worked my way up to the front, where I have excelled in billing, treatment planning, and managing.
I have been with Barsoum Dental going on 4 years and am excited to move into my role as the assistant office manager. In my free time, I like to be home with my daughter Nayomi and go on different adventures with her.

My mother is an RDA so I practically grew up in the dental office. I followed in her footsteps and obtained my RDA license in 2014. Then I spent a few years expanding my knowledge, developing new skills, and evolving as a dental professional. I joined Barsoum Dental in 2018. It is a great honor to work with such an esteemed team of dental professionals that are truly dedicated to providing quality dental care and service. I embraced my new role as the Office Manager in 2021 and am grateful to have a career where I am able to exercise my passion for helping people surrounded by a team that feels like family. I spend most of my free time with my better half. I always have a coffee in hand and like cooking, hiking, and DIY projects. I love trying out Tik Tok recipes and finding new items at Trader Joe's.

Treatment Coordinator
I am a Treatment Coordinator at Barsoum Dental. I love working here because we have a great family dynamic, and I feel supported. I became interested in the dental field after taking a tour while my sister attended a vocational college. I was seeking a career and fell in love with dentistry. I began working at Barsoum Dental as an RDA but had to pivot into a front-office role due to an ankle injury. My ankle is better now, but you’ll still find me working in the front office because I found a passion for treatment coordinating, and explaining insurance benefits. In my free time, I like going to the gym and hanging out with family and friends. I have a sweet tooth for Raisinets and I love any song by Linkin Park.

I became a Registered Dental Assistant after high school because I liked helping people. I joined Barsoum Dental in 2007 and had the pleasure of watching and contributing to, our growing success. I love working here because the Dentists and Staff genuinely care about the patients. It is very rewarding to help patients achieve their dream smiles. I enjoy spending time with my kids, attending a women's bible study group, eating Mexican food, and listening to oldies.

I was honored to join Barsoum Dental in 2012. I truly enjoy working with Dr. Barsoum and his team because I know I am working with fellow dental health care professionals that share my passion for providing only the best quality patient care. As a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (BSDH), I am passionate about dental hygiene and believe good oral health is an essential component of overall health. I am a proud member of several professional organizations, including The Tri-County Dental Hygiene Society and The American Dental Hygiene Association. I consider myself a lifelong learner and attend several continuing education courses a year. I enjoy traveling and trying new foods, but most of all, I love spending time with my husband and our two boys.

Out of the office, I enjoy camping and spending time with my husband, son, daughter, and grandchildren.

I am a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions at Barsoum Dental. I stumbled into the dental field by accident, and I have come to love it. I started as a dental assistant, but my passion drove me to further my knowledge at UCLA. I graduated and obtained my RDAEF2 license, which is equivalent to a physician’s assistant in the medical field. I continue to work very closely with Loma Linda university and help train and guide new generations of RDAEF2. I love working here because of the team atmosphere and the family feel. My favorite color is red, and chips and salsa are definitely my favorite snack. I enjoy being outdoors with my family at the beach or swimming in the pool and cooking.

As Barsoum Dental's Specialty Coordinator, I help guests with their specialty care like Endodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery. I've been in the dental field for over 30 years now, and I fell in love with the industry after putting myself through braces. Having straight teeth really built up my self-esteem, and I wasn’t afraid to smile anymore, which is why I enjoy helping others achieve their dream smile. I consider my coworkers my dental family. My husband and I have three grown sons and one teenage daughter. We enjoy spending time together, especially going on out-of-town adventures. I also love dancing, cooking, baking, and treating myself to mani/pedis.

Oral Surgery Coordinator
I am Barsoum Dental's Oral Surgery Coordinator. I started working here just one day after I turned 18. Initially, I handled insurance verification and explanations. I slowly began helping out in all areas, and I realized how much I enjoyed specialty dentistry, specifically Oral Surgery. My favorite color is pink, and I love to draw and go to concerts in my free time. I listen to all kinds of music, but I love BTS. I have a pitbull named Indiana Jones, which is also my favorite ride at Disneyland. My guilty pleasures are Hot Cheetos, Raising Canes, and Sushi.

Hello everyone! My name is Hanh. I'm a RDAEF. I'm in the dental field for 11 years and joined Dr. Barsoum's team in 2011. I went to UCLA to continue my education and got my RDAEF license. My goal is not only to make people smile but also to make them feel comfortable and enjoy coming to our dental office. I like to cook all kinds of food, go shopping and spend time with my husband and my 14 years old son.

I have been in the dental field for over 25 years. I just sort of fell into it and never looked back! I joined Barsoum Dental in 2017, and I am so happy and honored to be a part of Dr. Barsoum's dental family. I love that our primary focus is to provide excellent customer service and positive dental experiences to our patients. When I am not working, you might see me around rescuing stray cats, dogs, and even an emu once. I enjoy spending time with my husband, going out to eat, and trying my luck out at the casino. I have family in Idaho and visit when I can.

My journey began in 2018 as a dental assistant extern at Barsoum Dental. I immediately developed a passion for helping people and educating patients on their oral health care. So, it didn’t take long for me to join the team permanently and get my RDA license. I plan on continuing my education to become a dental hygienist in the future. In my free time, I like to be surrounded by my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling/camping, hiking and dancing.

At Barsoum Dental, I work as a Treatment Plan Coordinator. I got my start in the dental field at just 18 years old, helping with miscellaneous clerical work. Over time, I took on more responsibilities, and as I learned more about dentistry, I grew to love the industry. So, I went to school, got my RDA license, and worked my way up to my current position. I plan to continue growing in my career at Barsoum Dental. I enjoy eating In-N-Out and watching Grey's Anatomy. I love going to Disneyland with my fiance, but most of my free time is spent on wedding planning. I also have a pug and a bunny that keep me very busy.

I started my dental career in 2011 as a dental assistant then in 2019 I began my dental hygienist journey. I’ve been employed at Barsoum Dental since 2022. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids. We love football and track. We also enjoy going to Hawaii every year to see our family.

I’ve been a Registered Dental Assistant for over a decade, and I love what I do! I’ve worked in both general and specialty settings, but what I enjoy most is assisting in oral surgery and working closely with our Periodontists. I take pride in making sure patients feel at ease and supported during their visits. When I’m not at the office, I’m usually spending quality time with my daughter and running my small side business making custom treats for all kinds of special occasions. Helping people—whether it’s through dentistry or desserts—is what brings me joy.

I have been with Barsoum dental for over a decade. I started out getting my RDA license but realized quickly that I loved being in the front office and so began my journey. I really enjoy helping patients and love my team. In my free time you can find me reading multiple books at at time, traveling all over the world with my boyfriend and/or family or spending time with my 2 dogs Storm and Buddy. I work on the weekends with my mom and brother for our wedding videography company.

Andrea Reyes
RDA Back Office Lead
Andrea is our experienced Lead Dental Assistant with over 25 years in the field. She plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly, ensuring an efficient flow of patients and supporting both the clinical team and doctors throughout the day. Andrea is also skilled in assisting with specialty procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics, where her knowledge helps provide patients with a comfortable experience.
Outside of the office, Andrea enjoys spending time on the water, boating and jet skiing, and cherishes making memories with her family.
Yvonne Tafoya
RDA OMSA Back Office Lead 2
Yvonne is a Registered Dental Assistant and Second Lead with over 11 years of experience in the dental field and is Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant (OMSA) certified. She has a strong background in oral surgery and implant procedures and works closely with periodontal specialists to deliver seamless, high-quality care. Known for her calm, reassuring presence, Yvonne has a way of helping even the most nervous patients feel comfortable and taken care of.
Outside the office, she’s either in the gym, cheering on the Steelers (loudly), spending time with her husband, or hanging out with her cats—who definitely run the house.

Hi, I’m Sarah, a Registered Dental Assistant on our specialty team. I began my career in dentistry and gained two years of hands-on experience before attending American Career College, where I earned my RDA. I am passionate about providing quality patient care and take pride in helping guide patients through their treatment while creating a calm and comfortable environment.

Courtney is a passionate RDAEF2 who is always eager to learn. Going to CE courses and networking is so lively and entertaining. Her passion extends to her family where she is a wife and mother of 4. She is a board member with Rancho Little League. She is team mom for her 15-year-old's baseball team. She is team mom for her 10-year-old's baseball team. She loves to scorekeep at the games and create the music list, walk-up songs, and vibe at the baseball game. She coaches her 12-year-old daughter's volleyball team. She volunteers with her 7-year-old's dance recitals.
Courtney is a troop leader for her 7-year-old's Girl Scout Daisy troop. She loves dancing Folkloriko and performing twice a year. When Courtney is not having fun with these activities, she enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, at the lake, on hikes in the mountains, or playing board games, video games, card games, and reading fantasy on her own and also to her children.

Amber has been dedicated to the dental field since 2009, bringing years of experience and a genuine passion for patient care to everything she does. She truly loves her work and takes pride in creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient she meets.
Outside of the office, Amber enjoys spending time with her family. She is happily married and recently welcomed a newborn son, who brings even more joy to her life. She always looks forward to meeting new patients and helping them feel right at home.

I have been a dedicated member of the team since 2020, bringing consistency, reliability, and a strong commitment to patient care. In 2024, I graduated from the Loma Linda Orthodontic Assistant Program, further strengthening my clinical knowledge and skills in specialized dental care.
I have experience working alongside a variety of dental specialists, with a primary focus on endodontics. My approach centers on ensuring every patient feels as comfortable and at ease as possible throughout their treatment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and kids, especially exploring new adventures and making lasting memories together.
